Junior Pope was born on 7 May 1981 in Bamenda, Cameroon to Luke Odundu, an Igbo, and his wife. He later moved to Nigeria and completed his primary and secondary education there.
Career
After studying accounting, Junior Pope initially pursued a career in accounting, but later switched to acting in 2004, starting from small jobs.
He made his acting debut in 2004 in the film Lost in the Jungle, where he had a small role. Pope officially entered Nollywood in 2006 and started his career in 2007, his first major movie was Secret Adventure directed by Chidi Chikere.
Since then, Pope has appeared in over 100 Nigerian movies, including Throne of Tears (2008), I’m Myself (2009), Madness Madness, Blood Relation (2021), No Way (2023), Gebe (2022) and Honey Money. (2023), and others.
